The new Peak Pilates Comprehensive Certification is a three-level Pilates instructor training program that culminates in a Peak Pilates Comprehensive Certification. Each level delivers Pilates teacher training in an affordable, easy to access module format that allows you to assess and progress at your own pace. Each level is described below.
NEW – PEAK BRIDGE PROGRAM
Peak Pilates® Level I Bridge Program
For Teachers Interested in Bridging into the Peak Pilates®
This condensed course allows instructors who may be certified from other national Pilates organizations the ability to jump right into the Peak Pilates Comprehensive Certification. The Bridge Level I provides streamlined programming and flexible learning options that simplify our standard Module 1 course work,
you on the fast track to successfully growing your instructor career!
LEVEL I
Level I comprises 4 modules. Each module builds upon the knowledge and skills learned in the prior module and culminate in a Level I Peak Pilates Certification.
Module 1: The Foundation. 20 hours
- Introduction to the Peak Pilates 5-Part Formula for Success
- Key concepts, fundamentals and introduction to the Powerhouse
- Introductory mat work and mat building blocks
Module 2: Introduction to the Apparatus. 20 hours
- Introduction to the Reformer, High Chair, Small Barrel and High Ladder Barrel
- Learn transitions, cueing and touch techniques
Module 3: Beginner/Intermediate Level Apparatus. 20 hours
- Pilates Low Chair exercises
- Intermediate level Reformer and Ladder Barrel exercises
- Common errors; how to identify proper body alignment
- How to structure a complete Pilates session
Module 4: Intermediate Level Fluency. 20 hours
- Remaining High Ladder Barrel exercises
- Review all apparatus and mat exercises
- Review theory, practice teach and get feedback
Prerequisites
Knowledge of basic human anatomy and kinesiology, and at least 20 hours of Pilates training.
Requirements and Certification
Attendance in all sessions of each module; homework assignments; successful completion of written and practical assessments; and completion of 120 logged hours: 25 observation hours, 60 personal practice hours and 35 teaching hours. Upon completion of all requirements, a Level I Peak Pilates Certification will be awarded, which allows the teacher to teach safe and effective beginner to intermediate workouts to healthy individuals.

LEVEL II
Level II Certification comprises 2 modules and continues to build upon the information and skills acquired in Level I.
Module 1: Intermediate Level Mat, Reformer, Cadillac. 20 hours
- Learn all the intermediate level exercises and begin to build upon the information from Level I.
- Transitions and how to see body alignment, both static and moving.
Module 2: Intermediate Level Chair and Barrels and Teaching Technique. 20 hours
- Learn all of the Intermediate exercises and build. Level II builds upon the skills learned in Level I
- Practice teaching new exercises
- Cueing variations and introductory touch techniques
Requirements and Certification
Attendance in all sessions of each module; homework assignments; successful completion of written and practical assessments; and completion of 60 logged hours: 20 observation hours, 20 personal practice hours and 20 teaching hours. Upon completion of all requirements, a Level II Peak Pilates Certification will be awarded.
Prerequisites
Successful completion of Level I, plus 100 prerequisite hours (60 personal practice/observation hours, 40 teaching hours).

LEVEL III
Level III Certification comprises 3 modules, teaches advanced concepts, practices and exercises, and culminates in the Final Comprehensive Assessment.
Module 1: Advanced Level Mat, Reformer, Cadillac. 20 hours
- Advanced level exercises
- Transitions and how to see body alignment, both static and moving
Module 2: Advanced Level Chair, Barrels, Auxiliary equipment. 20 hours
- Advanced level exercises
- Auxilliary equipment and jump board
- Case studies
Module 3: Final Comprehensive Assessment Day
Requirements and Certification
Attendance in all sessions of each module; homework assignments; completion of 60 logged hours: 20 observation hours, 20 personal practice hours and 20 teaching hours. Upon completion of these requirements, as well as achieving passing scores on the final comprehensive assessments, a Full Comprehensive Peak Pilates Certification will be awarded.
