About The Good Space:

Our Philosophy

THE GOOD SPACE PILATES & YOGA STUDIO promotes the strength of  Pilates and the flexibility of Yoga. Combined or alone each system meets the needs of our fast-paced, competitive and stressful lives. The strength to withstand the pressure and the flexibility needed to change in a high-tech world evolving faster everyday. Strength and Flexibility — Pilates and Yoga, the physical and mental ingredients for optimal health and sustained quality of life.

Why Choose The Good Space?

The Good Space has the advantage of highly trained and certified instructors, as well as the best available equipment through Peak Pilates System™ , in a private, exclusive studio environment.  We offer small group classes limited to 10-20 students and a wide variety of training options: dance, Yoga, Pilates, Reformer, group classes, private and semi-private sessions.  Skin care, massage, facials, and waxing are also available.

Also, there are no membership fees or long-term contracts.  The Good Space is a Peak Pilates PilateSystem Training Certification facility.

Pilates & Yoga relieve chronic stress patterns and refresh the body by relieving muscle strain.  Furthermore, Pilates & Yoga increase mind-body awareness, help center attention, sharpen concentration and allow the body to renew, invigorate and heal. Stretching and toning muscles, spine, and joints has been proven to lead to better health by directing blood and oxygen to the internal organs, glands and nerves.  Done correctly, Pilates & Yoga can generate motion and circulation without causing strain and imbalance in the body.  Pilates & Yoga also:

Creating Good Space

 • LEAVE THE COMPETITION AT THE DOOR – Be kind to others and yourself.  Set your limits according to personal needs.

 • PLEASE TURN OFF CELL PHONES AND PAGERS – If necessary, set on vibrate upon entering.

 • SILENCE IS GOLDEN, AND VOICES CARRY – Please be aware that others are concentrating on their bodies.

 • SCENTS – Please do not wear heavy cologne or perfumes to class.

 • EATING HABITS – Before practice it is recommended to finish your last full meal 3 hours prior.  A light snack 1 hour before is recommended.

 • ARRIVE EARLY – Please arrive a few minutes before class, use the restroom, sign in, get a drink of water and center your mind in the present moment. Your Yoga & Pilates practice will be enhanced considerably.

 • CLOTHING – If wearing shorts, we request bike shorts or tights be worn underneath.  Yoga or dance wear is appropriate attire while practicing.

 • EQUIPMENT – Please wipe off Pilates equipment and replace all mat, block, and straps neatly after use.


n The Good Space is located in the front of the 5757 Woodway East Office Building, in Suite 150.  We are located on Woodway Dr, between Fountain View and Chimney Rock. Parking is available in front or behind the building.
